I have another headache annoying me... well, its my stupid fault after all, staying for hours in front of this computer reading a fanfic again! oh well..
according to my sources.. they wont be able to continue in partaking in the tournament in alabang.. i guess lack of communication would be put to blame...and also lack of transportation which seemed to be my one and only reason for not attending that party...aha...the party again, eh?
since im at it again... i guess it wouldnt hurt mentioning the game that happened a week ago, now would it? but it has to be fast... i still have stained glass to watch.. mwehehehe
Game 1: May 11, 2005 [now that sounds formal]
being blunt...we lost...20-4 i think that was the score. well of course, i am to blame for that.. for most, anyway. i stubbornly didnt listen to coach...so i got what i deserve, eh? but during that time.. even though they kept on reminding us that we should play first.. it seemed much more right to play home... i caught the ball easily and i was near homeplate...so i did what i thought was right...but of course the catcher didnt catch the thrown ball... it seemed to me back then that if i threw the ball to first base the ball wouldnt be able to reach first... and the fact that the other team already has 2 outs...on both accounts...yes... it happened twice! damn it... and on the forth or last inning...my stupid ankle got sprained or something... whatever happened...it hurt every time i leaped during the pitch..thus destroying my release of the ball... so i tried not to leap and take a step instead...that worked...for some time, though... i could tell that coach noticed that something was indeed happening to me...but the game was called to an end since it was not possible to exceed their score...so we lost and received an earful of reminders from coach afterwards...
so i had to remember and must learn that...
i should cover home since im much much nearer.
i should definitely listen to the coaches no matter what i think...that's the number one rule anyway..
i should extend my arm while batting, not jerking it at the last minute...a fly ball will result from an unleveled swing
Game 2: May 13, 2005 [friday, the thirteen...how unusual]
white chicks won...oh, that's us. that's obviously our team name... so i was the first one to get there...a little before 7am, i think. so i had to wait for the others to arrive. quite a shock for me actually.. since there was supposed to be a 7 o'clock match for the grade schoolers... and getting there before the said time would set some sort of image of parents here and there bustling around.. but unfortunately there was none...they couldnt find a team to fight against the gs... and the older kids were actually the first ones to arrive... i had nothing to do and i was determined to get my release nearly perfect. but of course, i need to be under the guidance of coach.joy but so unfortunate for me...she wasnt able to attend...i was hoping she would be there since it was already the last day for the summer camp.. and had to be singled out by coach.eunice...it was tiring...i mean, the coach was pushing me to my limits.. had to keep up with her throwing and catching.. despite the fact that it was exhausting...twas fun all the same. then coach.lia kept on saying that we should practice my pitching...but it was minutes before the game when she finally showed up...i mean she was busy doing something i guess. all she said was to have a bigger jump and fuller arm motion...and of course...to be aggressive. i guess i did follow her and it did work. it really did. then the game came...like the first game "taya kami.." or in other words, i think...we're defense... oh i dont care about what that means...all it means that we were on the field... my pitch was okay, i guess. it was not perfect...still kept throwing wild pitches. but it has indeed improved. but there was a downside on being on the field...or rather being in my shoes...literally...the damn loose soil kept on getting inside my stupid shoe...every time i drag my right foot... so by the bottom of every inning[were the ones suppose to bat] i have to empty my shoe of stupid damn freaking soil...buhangin.. whatever. but it was okay... there was a certain inning wherein we were able to put the other team into having 3 consecutive outs...not really consecutive...but nearly consecutive.. ha! bianca/crespo was yelling good heartedly that we were supposed to be inside the dugout within 5 minutes... i cant help but smile...haha! and thus it happened. so by the time we were on the last inning...we were allowed 2 hours...so apparently the game was limited to 3 innings only...unlike the first one in which we had 5...so all we have to do was score 2 times more i guess and we'll win...ha! we won...lol we kept on shouting and jumping that we won! haha! talo kasi kami nung una eh...ehehe so we won by one point...*laughs* 8-7...
afterwards we had this...photo shoot going on. lol... they let us pose with our gloves and click... they said it was going to be on our certificate...well, i saw one on one of my softbellemate's blog...quite impressive...they only had one day to do that...but sadly i didnt receive mine...kasi ang tanga hindi nakapunta sa party..;p
so what to remember...
i should have a bigger step and fuller arm rotation..
i should be aggressive in every pitch..
i should bat with knees bended and keep the bat high..
enough of softball...i think you had enough of it...hehe...but before anything else...pitching successfully is something that im proud of doing...
were going on camping...not really i guess...they have cottages in which we'll sleep in...but a nature trip...hiking...kayaking...canoeing? i dont know...but i'll be gone this sat and sun...and on my birthday too...ha! now you know my birthday! i dont care about my birthday actually...everything goes on normal...we have something special to eat...but besides that...there's nothing else...birthday gifts? there's nothing much too *shrugs*...i dont mind having nothing to receive...a simple greeting would do.. at least somebody would remember right? considering that it is summer...
