Ayan. Tapos na yung unang linggo ng pasukan. And in just 3 nights of little sleep, shadows beneath my eyes have started to show. Mygod, I just can't imagine how large these shadows will be by the end of the school year! I really hope it wouldnt be permanent..*crosses fingers*
I can't believe that our school can't spare us a few more minutes for our break times. They should know that we do lots of work. Mygod, it would be okay for me IF they gave us ssp. But nooo! They removed that too! They removed the only period wherein we can do what has to be done. Kaya pati lunch ng buong klase nadadamay dahil wala ng oras para man lang masabi sa kanila kung anong gagawin sa kapatiran. They should have at least gave us a few minutes of "homeroom" per day.
Guess what? Ms.Olalde told me a while ago that I got the highest score in the whole batch in her quiz. But seriously, I do agree with what she said. Many of us are taking for granted the little details of our Christian faith. Or maybe majority of the youth are really not that spiritually mature. Sasabihin nila na ang jologs mo, na hindi ka "in", na wala yung kwenta.. It's just that we have become more materialistic. We don't anymore care about our faith and even about others...
Speaking of which.. I still don't know how to successfully reach out to our section. I just can't understand why the majority had put me in that position but they won't even try to cooperate. It's just so disappointing how divided the class has become. Not divided as in they are fighting against each other. But divided in the sense that they don't care anymore if they're following the rules or not. They don't care anymore about the little or big issues that has to be done. I don't know why they have become like that. It's as if they're taking for granted our last year in high school.
Mygod, I will really, really jump for joy when my classmates start to care and listen and stop thinking about themselves for a moment.
But then again, it made me think of the "what if's". What if I wasnt nominated? I wonder if the class will still react the same way as they do at present to the appointed sectionhead. I wonder if the problem really lies with me and not with them. I can see that I still havent learned to become an effective leader. I can't get the same response as Pixie did last year.
Ewan ko.. I just feel so insecure that others have handled their section well, while I... you get the picture.
But of course, I must give myself and my classmates time. The time for me to GREATLY adjust. And the time for them to learn that there are more important concerns other than their own.
