isang nilalang mula sa isang all-girls school. at ngayo'y pumapasok na sa unibersidad ng pilipinas bilang isang CHK freshie. mahilig magbasa ng mga libro lalong-lalo na ang mga sinulat nina michael connelly, james patterson, lualhati bautista at nicholas sparks. nangungulila sa paglalaro ng softball. mahal na mahal ang pag-aaral ng arnis. mahilig tumunganga, mag-isip, magmuni-muni. at mahilig sa mga outdoor activities at mga hayop lalo na ang aking bebe.

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

masyado na akong nagbabasa sa peyups. kanina lang, napadaan ako sa mga thread tungkol sa christianity. and here i go again. i felt that i needed to defend my faith, but based on the replies by more knowledgeable christians, alang na akong magagawa. kokontrahin ka lang nila nang kokontrahin. but the fact that they claim that they do not believe in God just shows that they still recognize His presence. ewan ko kung gets niyo yan. pero yun ang tingin ko.

atheists come into existence because (i think) that they could not find a religion that suits their needs/wants. all religions have laws. and since they do not want to follow orders, since they feel that their freedom is being suppressed, they would then decide that the best thing that they could do is break the link that connects them to their ex-religion.

yes, they can say that we are blindly following a supreme being that we can't even interact with. but isn't that the meaning of faith? they could claim that the bible has many contradictions and faults. yeah, mukha namang posible yan. i think we should all open our minds to that possibility. but it doesn't mean that we should do anything we want.

ewan ko ba. i'm still having a difficult time properly expressing my thoughts. hay, nagkagulo na.
i just realized that i have so MUCH to learn about my faith and my God. and i think studying in UP would try and try to prevent me from doing so. sana lang talaga hindi ako mahulog sa bitag ng mga paniniwalang walang batayan sa aking pananampalataya.

umiiral ang mga "quotable quotes" ko. LOL.

i think that religion is very personal to each individual. di mo pwede naman i-convince yung isang tao na ganito or ganon. everyone has their own spiritual path.

ewan, i was arguing with my family about this kahapon kasi complain sila na i don't go to church. sabi ko, i never got anything out of church. sabi nila, the church is God's house. sabi ko, God is everywhere... why should i be limited to a building?

i think so, too techa. *points to first par* kaya lang naging masyadong mainit yung usapan dun sa forums, kaya dito ako nag-rant. lol.

i won't comment on your second par, since tingin ko wala tayong mapupuntahan kung magdebate tayo. ;)

and i don't mind if other people have different beliefs from mine. that makes the world interesting, diba? :)
